Learn about…WORKING SUCCESSFULLY with FAMILIES to PROMOTE SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT (birth-3 years old).
Join your friends and colleagues on Tuesday, November 19, 7:00 – 8:30, at Cornell Cooperative Extension to hear Linda J. Sullivan, Inclusion Associate with Regional Early Childhood Direction Center, present a workshop stressing the importance of partnering with families in order to promote social emotional wellness in our youngest children.
Beginning with the latest research findings Linda will inform us about the relationship between early social emotional development and future success. Come and explore with us new ways to connect and partner with families in an effort to provide children with the environments, relationships and experiences needed for healthy development.
Best of all, Linda will provide strategies, activities, resources and parent friendly information to increase awareness of children’s social emotional needs and how caregivers and families can work together to meet them.
We look forward to seeing you for this informative and important professional development session!
