Join RAEYC for the first program in our year-long series on Family and Culture,

Culture in the Classroom.

This program will be presented by Dr. James Wood of St. John Fisher College.   Dr.Wood will focus on current issues of social injustice and its impact on multicultural environments. This will include discussion of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Use of multicultural pictures will create the center piece of the discussion.

Culture in the Classroom is the first in the 2013-2014 series of RAEYC  Professional Development sessions! This year’s theme – Family and Culture – is focusing on the early childhood professionals’ ability to respect and support the preservation of children and families’ home languages, cultural backgrounds, and childrearing beliefs, goals, and practices. We hope that you will join us for these invaluable upcoming professional development sessions.
